The Interstate United League is the longest-running recreational soccer league in the Siouxland area. It is intended as a fun, recreational program for grades Pre-K through 8th. Running for approximately six to seven weeks, in the Fall and Spring, games are played on weekday evenings at the Dible Soccer Complex. Registration fees vary by age and sign-up date, with discounts available for siblings. The league is fully powered by parent volunteer coaches and requires official league jerseys for all games.

Fall 2026 Season Schedule

• Dates: August 17th – October 1st, 2026
• Game Days by Age Group:
  • U6–U8: Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • U10–U14: Mondays and Thursdays
• Game Times: 5:40 PM and 6:45 PM
• Location: Dible Soccer Complex (South Sioux City, NE)
• Eligibility: Open to kids born between 8/1/2012 – 7/31/2022

• July 31: Final deadline for coach or teammate requests (not guaranteed).
• August 8: Hard deadline. Your registration will be put onto the waitlist and isn't guaranteed.

• Return to School Year Grouping: Transitioning to an 8/1–7/31 age grouping is a return to the former format by US Soccer prior to 2017.
• Social and Emotional Benefits: Because the majority of youth soccer is recreational, USYS emphasizes the importance of social elements. Grouping by school year promotes stronger team chemistry and retention by allowing children to play with their friends and classmates. It also places players in a more consistent emotional and physical developmental environment.

Team Placement Notes

• Division Structure: ALL divisions will now be based on even age groupings encompassing two birth years (e.g., U14, U12, etc.). Note that "U followed by an age" means that age and younger.
• Playing Up: Playing up requests should no longer be necessary due to the school-year age grouping change.
• Requests: Teammate and coach requests are not guaranteed. Placements depend heavily on registration order, school location, and team sizes.
